A man died and a woman was injured in a rollover car crash in Itasca County on Saturday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Lorin Allen Losh, 22, of Remer, was driving a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country on County Road 28 at 6:12 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was approaching Hwy. 6 when it skidded through a stop sign and began to roll.

The minivan's roof then struck a power pole and the vehicle came to rest on the passenger side.

Passenger Savannah Ellen Hinsz, 19, also of Remer, sustained noncritical injuries and was taken to Deer River Hospital. Nina Ellona Losh, an infant riding in the vehicle, was not hurt.

Alcohol wasn't involved in the crash, according to the State Patrol. Neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seat belt.
