Man killed in house fire near Rogers is identified

The identity of a man who died in a house fire in western Hennepin County was released Tuesday.

Kyle J. Adams, 19, died from heat- and smoke-related injuries from the fire at his home on May 21 in Hassan Township, near Rogers, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

Authorities have yet to disclose what led to the blaze. The medical examiner's office characterized the death as accidental.

Pamela A. Adams, 46, Kyle's mother, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with injuries and was expected to survive.
