ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — A Douglas County grand jury has indicted an Alexandria man in the stabbing death of a 28-year-old man.
Kody Lee Klimek was indicted Wednesday on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of third-degree murder.
Klimek was arrested June 1 after Phillip Alstadt of Alexandria was fatally stabbed after an altercation. Police say the two men knew each other.
Klimek has been in jail since his arrest, with unconditional bail set at $1 million. He was advised of the indictment in court Thursday and remains in custody.
