Man in his 20s shot, killed along West Broadway in Minneapolis

No arrests have been made, police said.

A man was fatally shot on West Broadway in north Minneapolis, authorities said Friday.

The gunfire erupted about 5:50 p.m. Thursday, and responding officers were soon advised that a man was down on the ground, police said.

The officers saw the man had been shot several times. He was taken by ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

Police were advised Friday morning that the man, in his 20s, had died. His identity has yet to be released.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which occurred along West Broadway between James and Knox avenues.
