MAHTOWA TOWNSHIP, Minn. — The Minnesota State Patrol says a Duluth man is under arrest for a hit-and-run death at an interstate rest stop.

The patrol says a 62-year-old Cloquet man was walking in the Mahtowa rest area along Interstate 35 Wednesday evening when a Ford pickup struck and killed him.
Authorities say witnesses saw the truck leaving the scene. The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/11zyl7K ) says the 55-year-old suspect was taken into custody after fleeing from officers.
