Man found shot dead outside his north Minneapolis home identified; no arrests

Police declined to reveal more about what led to the shooting but did say "this was not a random incident."

Authorities have identified the man found shot to death over the weekend outside his north Minneapolis home.

Chad J. Holin, 34, died Saturday on the 3900 block of N. Humboldt Avenue, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

No arrests had been made as of late Wednesday afternoon.

Police spokesman John Elder declined to reveal more about what led to the shooting, but did say, "This was not a random incident."
