A man found dead in Como Lake in St. Paul over the weekend was identified Tuesday by police.
The body of Michael Joseph Perseke, 49, of St. Paul, was spotted near the Como Lakeside Pavilion about 1:30 p.m. Sunday and recovered by St. Paul fire personnel.
Perseke's cause of death appears to be drowning, but investigators are awaiting additional tests, said St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla. No foul play is suspected in the death.
About two weeks ago, police searched in the area near where the body was recovered for Perseke, who had been reported missing, Padilla said.
