A man was fatally shot Friday night in north Minnneapolis after an altercation inside the North Side Food Market moved onto the sidewalk, a Minneapolis police spokesperson said.
Officers responded to 911 reports of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. and found the man’s body near where the shots were reportedly fired. The suspect fled prior to the officers’ arrival.
Police said that the incident is not believed to be random and that no one has been arrested.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the deceased along with the nature and cause of death.
