A man was fatally assaulted in a southwestern Minnesota home, and another man has been arrested, authorities said.
Police in Worthington were called to the single-family home in the 1000 block of Oslo Street about 6 p.m. Friday.
The victim was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center, and he died there, police said.
A 46-year-old man was arrested later that night and booked into the Nobles County jail on suspicion of second-degree murder and second-degree assault. The suspect lives about 2 miles to the southeast of where the assault took place.
Authorities have yet to identify the man who died, nor have they revealed the circumstances leading up to the violence.
