A tractor accident in western Wisconsin has left a 38-year-old man dead, authorities said Saturday.
The man's body was found about 10 p.m. Friday in Salem Township, just southeast of Ellsworth, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrived to find Travis Anderson, of Ellsworth, near a tractor with severe injuries, the Sheriff's Office added.
Paramedics moved Anderson to a nearby helicopter landing zone on Hwy. 10, where a medical examiner pronounced him dead, the Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities have yet to reveal the circumstances that led to Anderson's death.
