A 57-year-old Coon Rapids man died overnight in Hastings after the semitrailer truck he was driving went off the road, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Robert S. Kary was driving north on Hwy. 316 at 200th Street E. around 2:30 a.m. when his 2013 Freightliner left the road on the left side and struck a tree. Kary was wearing a seat belt and no alcohol use was detected, the patrol said.
