Man dies in house fire in western Twin Cities suburb

A man was found inside the fully engulfed home in Watertown in the 400 block of Franklin Avenue NW.

A house caught fire in the west metro area, killing a man inside, authorities said Monday.

The blaze in Watertown was reported to the Carver County Sheriff's Office about 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

A man was found dead inside the fully engulfed home in the 400 block of Franklin Avenue NW., the Sheriff's Office added. His identity has yet to be released.

Authorities have yet to disclose what might have led to the fire.
