Man dies, another is hurt in stabbing

February 10, 2013 at 5:54AM

Police were investigating a stabbing Saturday afternoon that left one man dead in a north Minneapolis apartment and another man injured.

No arrests have been made, and the public is not considered at risk because "all parties present knew each other," police spokesman Sgt. Steve McCarty said late Saturday.

Police were called to the apartment in the 2000 block of Glenwood Avenue N. about 4:45 p.m.

When officers arrived they found the one man dead and learned that another man had been injured. The hurt man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and his injuries were not considered life-threatening, McCarty said.

Minneapolis police are asking for anyone with information to call 612-692-8477.
