Man dies after jumping from bridge onto I-94

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 near downtown St. Paul were closed for about an hour Saturday afternoon after a man jumped from the Marion Street bridge over the highway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol

State Patrol spokesman Capt. Matt Langer said a man died after jumping from the bridge about 2:30 p.m. No further details were available Saturday.

The closure was near the State Capitol at Exit 241A, Marion Street/Kellogg Boulevard, the department said.
