A 54-year-old man from Marshall, Minn., died early Wednesday in a crash in Yellow Medicine County, authorities said.
Just after 2:30 a.m., Byron Dean Iverson was driving a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Highway 59 south of Clarkfield, about 130 miles southwest of St. Cloud, when the vehicle left the road, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The Jeep "vaulted over a driveway access," rolled and came to a rest on its roof, the patrol said.
A 53-year-old female passenger from Cottonwood, Minn. was airlifted to a hospital in St. Cloud for noncritical injuries.
Both occupants had their seat belts on and alcohol was not involved, the patrol added.
