A man died in a rollover crash in southwestern Minnesota early Sunday, authorities said.
According to the State Patrol: A 22-year-old man from Tyler, Minn., was driving a 1999 Ford Contour northbound on Hwy. 75 near Lake Benton, in Lincoln County, shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The car went off the road, entered the ditch and rolled.
The initial State Patrol report indicates that the driver was not wearing a seat belt and that no alcohol was detected in his system. The driver's name has not yet been released.
The area is about 180 miles from the Twin Cities.
