A man was critically injured in a shooting Sunday at a St. Paul bar, and a suspect — also shot — was in custody.

The shooting occurred at Willard's Liquors on the 700 block of Thomas Avenue in the Frogtown neighborhood. A man was shot inside the bar at around 6 p.m. and transported to Regions Hospital where he was in critical condition.

Another man who was shot in the leg summoned officers — from a different location — due to his wound, said Steven Frazer, a St. Paul Police Department commander. He was arrested, Frazer said.

Police said they were investigating and had no further details.
