A man assaulted and raped two women in St. Paul, according to charges filed Monday.

Raymond J. Traylor, 41, whose current address is unknown, was charged in Ramsey County District Court with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to the complaint: Traylor met one of the women on April 30 at Big Top Liquor at 1574 W. University Av. in St. Paul. He asked the woman if she needed a ride, and she accepted his offer. Traylor then asked the woman to drink with him, and she agreed, prompting the two to stop at Rainbow Foods to get cash to buy beer. The two then went to the home of one of the woman's friends.

They were drinking when Traylor began punching the woman in the face and head, the charges said. Traylor then started punching the homeowner after she intervened. Traylor forced the first woman to perform oral sex on him, the complaint said.

Traylor then raped the woman's friend, fleeing when she said her son would be arriving soon, according to charges.
