A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with robbing a woman earlier this week using a gun-shaped cigarette lighter, authorities said.
The man, Luis Fernando Estrada-Olvera, was arrested Monday morning in connection with the stickup earlier that day in the Sumner-Glenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis, police said.
Estrada-Olvera is believed to have used a "lighter designed to look like a replica firearm," according to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court.
Estrada-Olvera has been charged with felony aggravated robbery. He was being held on $50,000 bond.
