A man was fatally pinned under a tractor and killed on property north of the Twin Cities, authorities said.
The incident occurred late afternoon Sunday in Nessel Township, about halfway between North Branch and Pine City, according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
The person who died was an 81-year-old man, the Sheriff's Office added. His identity has yet to be released.
The first call to the Sheriff's Office was for a man who was missing, but it then was notified that the man was under the tractor.
The Sheriff's Office has yet to say how the incident occurred.
