A 25-year-old man was taken to a hospital after having a seizure at a St. Louis Park hotel pool, authorities confirmed Wednesday night.

St. Louis Park police were dispatched to the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel at 1500 Park Place Blvd. around 8:20 p.m. on a report of a medical emergency. Upon arrival, they learned an adult male had suffered a seizure while inside the pool and nearly drowned. It was unclear how long the man was in the pool before responders arrived, said city spokeswoman Jacqueline Larson.

He went to Hennepin County Medical Center, where his condition is unknown.
