A plaque in memory of David and Elizabeth Weinlick, the Twin Cities couple who were matched at the Mall of America and married on the spot, was unveiled Wednesday at the mall's carousel.

On May 20, after many years of wedded bliss, David Weinlick died of colon cancer. The mall commemorated their love on what would have been the couple's 20th wedding anniversary.

Elizabeth and her daughter, Emily stole a moment before the public ceremony to reminisce. Some proceeds were donated to the Angel Foundation.
