Making amends: TV bounty hunter Duane (Dog) Chapman appeared Saturday in L.A. at a toy giveaway sponsored by a black advocacy group, weeks after publicly apologizing for using a racial slur. "We don't condone racial slurs, but upon hearing Dog's apology and after meeting with him and his family, we don't believe he's a racist," a group spokesman said.

Hitched: Mary Bono, 45, who was married to singer-turned-politician Sonny Bono and replaced him in Congress after his death, married U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, 40, Saturday in North Carolina. Mack, R-Fla., and Bono, R-Calif., dated for two years.
