The Mahtomedi schools will hold four community information sessions on the district's capital projects levy for technology that will be up for a vote Nov. 8.

The levy funds "will be used by the district to maintain a dedicated, consistent source of funding for educational technology, including the computers, servers and phones that are core to the district's infrastructure," district officials said. The renewal of the levy will result in no tax increase to district residents' current tax bills.

The sessions will take place at Mahtomedi High School at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the FABLAB; at Wildwood Elementary at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Spanish room; at Mahtomedi Middle School at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the media center, and at the district's education center at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 in the community room.
