It looks like it's one and done at the Oscars for Seth MacFarlane.

The "Family Guy" creator was asked on his Twitter account whether he'd consider hosting the Academy Awards again and he replied: "No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though."

MacFarlane's edgy comedy proved a polarizing force on Sunday's Academy Awards, with jokes about domestic violence, women's bodies and Jews in Hollywood that offended some viewers. TV critics may have hated it, but 40.3 million viewers lapped it up. William Shatner as Captain Kirk, First Lady Michelle Obama as Jack Nicholson's announcing partner and Halle Berry as the Chrysler Building made it the most watched entertainment program on TV in nearly three years.

More dancing shoes dusted off

A gold-medal figure skater, a country music legend and a kooky comedian are stepping their way onto "Dancing With the Stars." ABC says Dorothy Hamill, Wynonna Judd and Andy Dick are among 11 contenders for the mirrored ball on the new season of the celebrity dance competition. Also on hand will be former "American Idol" contestant Kellie Pickler, former welterweight boxing champ Victor Ortiz, actress/singer Zendaya Coleman and Lisa Vanderpump from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," as well as Olympic gold-medal gymnast Aly Raisman. The new "Dancing With the Stars" season kicks off on ABC with a two-hour premiere March 18.

g'night with nick: First-time dad Nick Lachey knows all about rocking a baby to sleep. Now he wants to help other kids get their rest. His new album, "A Father's Lullaby," will be released in a few weeks. It features 12 songs, including classics like "You Are My Sunshine" and Brahms Lullaby. The album also features four original tracks that Lachey co-wrote. The 39-year-old singer and his wife, TV personality Vanessa Lachey, welcomed their son, Camden, last September.

meds-related: Carrie Fisher was hospitalized following a bizarre performance aboard a Caribbean cruise ship last week, according to TMZ. Video footage surfaced of the performance last week on the Holland America Eurodam in the Caribbean, showing Fisher slurring a couple off-key songs. Fisher's rep says, "There was a medical incident related to Carrie Fisher's bipolar disorder. She went to the hospital briefly to adjust her medication and is feeling much better now."
