Lynx update: After a disappointing home loss against New York in which the Lynx turned the ball over four times in their final five possessions, the team will try to clinch the Western Conference title in their final home game of the regular season. A Lynx victory or a loss by Phoenix – both have two games remaining – clinches the conference title for Minnesota. This is the first of two games vs. Seattle that will end the Lynx's regular season. Ths season, the Lynx own 24- and 25-point victories at home and a three-point victory in Seattle. Minnesota has won 11 straight vs. Seattle at Target Center. The teams haven't met since July 3. F Maya Moore is coming off a 23-point, five-rebound game Sunday. C Sylvia Fowles scored 19 points with nine rebounds and three blocks in that game. G Renee Montgomery has scored in double figures in three straight games, averaging 14 points and 5.3 rebounds in those games. G Lindsay Whalen (Achilles') and G Seimone Augustus (mid-foot sprain) are out.

Storm update: The Storm, eliminated from playoff contention, has lost two straight, including a 19-point home loss to Tulsa and a 28-point loss in Chicago. Guard Sue Bird has been held out of the Storm's past two games, being allowed to rest. That has happened four times this season, and Seattle has lost all four. The Storm is led by F Crystal Langhorne (11.4 points, 6.0 rebounds), G Jewell Loyd (10.7) and Bird (10.4 points, 5.3 assists). F Abby Bishop (hamstring) has not played since Aug. 16 and G Monica Wright (knee) has not played since being traded from Minnesota to Seattle in July. F Ramu Tokashiki (personal) is out.
