ROSEMONT, ILL. - Lynx rookie guard Monica Wright scored a team-high 18 points against the Chicago Sky for the second time in seven days. But the outcome Thursday, another exhibition loss for Minnesota, was the same.

The only differences: this one was on the road, and Lindsay Whalen, who didn't play in the first Chicago game, had 10 assists and six points for the Lynx in her preseason debut.

The Sky defeated the Lynx 74-65 at Allstate Arena, Chicago's new home. Cathrine Kraayeveld scored 20 points, 17 in the first half, to lead the Sky to its second nine-point victory over the Lynx. The score was 87-78 Sky at Concordia (St. Paul) last Friday.

Chicago used a 10-0 run that spanned the second and third quarters to open a 45-36 lead this time around. The Lynx were within 61-60 with six minutes to play before the Sky went on a 13-2 run.

Wright, in addition to making 7 of 16 shots, had a team-high six rebounds and three assists. Also in double figures for Minnesota were Rashanda McCants with 11 points and Nicky Anosike with 10.

"Things didn't go the way we had hoped, and we weren't good in some areas that we should have been, but it's a preseason game," Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said. "There are some things we need to clean up."

The Lynx were only 3-for-12 on three-pointers and 10-for-15 on free throws.
