Lynx-Chicago game preview

Preview: The Lynx (26-5), who have clinched homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, extended their winning streak to five games with an 81-76 victory over San Antonio on Sunday. The Lynx are 2-0 against the Sky this season, winning 97-80 in Chicago on May 18 and 87-82 in Minneapolis on July 5. The Sky (16-15) clinched a spot in the playoffs for the fourth consecutive year with a 96-86 victory over Connecticut on Sunday.

Players to watch: Lynx G Seimone Augustus scored a team-high 20 points Sunday, the fourth time this season she has posted 20 or more points. F Rebekkah Brunson had a game-high 11 rebounds on Sunday — her 10th game with 10 or more rebounds this season. Sky guard Cappie Pondexter scored a season-high 24 points Sunday and moved into fifth place in WNBA history with 6,277 career points. G Allie Quigley had 18 points.

Numbers: Lynx F Maya Moore played in her 200th career game Sunday. She registered her 28th career double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Injuries: Chicago C Elena Delle Donne, the 2015 league MVP who has missed the past two games, will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair an injured right thumb. She will be sidelined indefinitely. Chicago F Tamera Young (ankle) did not play Sunday and is questionable.
