Three keys to Gophers winning second game:
1. Try something new. Put some pressure on Wisconsin's goalie. Drive hard to the net. Force Badgers to trip and hook to prevent goals. Then shoot, shoot, shoot on the power play.
2. Play smarter on defense. An odd-man rush once in a while is going to happen, but not consistently.
3. Hit somebody. Gophers said there was not much emotion on the ice Friday night. Stir some up. Even 5-8 Kyle Rau says hitting people gets him going.
STATUS QUO ON LINE CHARTS
It's a little surprising, but the Gophers are not juggling their lines despite their lackluster performance on Friday. Coach Don Lucia is going with the same line-up, although he could obviously make some switches during the game if his team starts slow again.
The Gophers' lines:
Kyle Rau-Nick Bjugstad-Zach Budish: Rau had three shots on Friday, Bjugstad none. Lucia said some of his top-end games did not play their best.
