Love Those Refreshing Breezes

The rainy season in California does not begin until November. Until then, thestorm track is too far north, and any fronts that come through usually don'tbring much rain.This assures that there will be many sunny days between now and then, and thisweekend will be no exception.

On rare occasions, a storm does hit California this time of year. Take a lookat the graphic below.

So why don't full-blown hurricanes ever slam into California? Simply, the waterthat far north is way too cold to support such a storm.
