Kevin Love used social media over the weekend to gush about a Cleveland teammate, but it wasn't LeBron James, Kyrie Irving or any of the other individuals who played a major role on the court.

The tribute was to James Jones, the veteran shooting guard who only played 20 minutes, scored one point and had two assists in the NBA Finals. Jones, a three-time NBA champion, followed James to Cleveland after playing in four consecutive NBA Finals in Miami.

Love, the former Timberwolves star, posted a photo on Instagram of himself and James with the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy and wrote: "I'd like to tribute the best teammate I've ever had, James Jones aka Champ. You taught me more than you know the past 2 years — what it takes to win, how to be a better teammate, how to balance the good/bad off the court, and most importantly … putting team first. Sacrifice for the better of the team, and in order to lead sometimes you have to learn to follow."
