Love out tonight vs. Thunder

Starting power forward will miss second consecutive game because he is too ill to play

Wolves coach Kurt Rambis didn't like what he saw when Kevin Love participated to some of this morning's shootaroud at Target Center, so he sent Love home to rest for another day.

Ryan Gomes will start at Love's spot alongside Damien Wilkins and Al Jefferson instead.

Expect to see a good bit of Brian Cardinal tonight as well, just as you did in Monday's overtime victory over Philly.

Rambis said Love "looked very lethargic and tired" at the morning shoot.

"And it's not like we kill the guys in shootaround," Rambis said. "So he was O.K. He just didn't look great. He didn't have a lot of energy, didn't have a lot of color in his face. He didn't look great to me."

Somebody asked Al Jefferson what color Love was this morning.

"I thought he looked pretty good," Jefferson said, "but he said he didn't look too good."

Expect Corey Brewer to start off tonight on Kevin Durant in the hope his 6-9 body and length will match Durant's and slow a guy who has scored 30 or more points in 12 of his last 15 games.
