"The Love Boat" crew had a reunion over the weekend. The show is remembered today mostly by people who were teens when it aired, and regarded it as a fun-filled get-away to exotic places that was also about, you know, ess-eee-ex. It was Star Trek for Junior high-school girls.
Saturday the cast showed up at the TV Land Awards, where awards are given for being on TV at some point in the past. You can see a slideshow of the cast here, although be warned: Ted Lange, i.e. Isaac the Swingin' Bartender, does that thing with his suave hey-you thing with his index finger in the very first photo. Captain Sourpuss did not show up, as these things are apparently beneath him.
The awards also honored some other sitcoms, and the AP slideshow has a picture of one of the stars. Who is this? It looks like Deborah Harry at a Helen Mirren Impersonation Contest.
