Los Lonely Boys: Henry, Ringo and JoJo Garza
Rochester fans will be missing Los Lonely Boys. The popular blues-rock trio has cancelled three weeks worth of shows, including April 29 at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, because bassist JoJo Garza has lesions on his vocal cords.
In a statement, Garza said: "My voice specialist told me it's vital to take care of this medical issue now if I want to continue making music. Nothing is more important to me than sharing this passion with my fans, so I cannot ignore this problem. My brothers and I promise to do our best to make up these shows."
Garza's throat ailment also means the trio will have to postpone recording sessions for their next album, due this fall.
Meanwhile, Los Lonely Boys are still scheduled to perform July 18 at the Minnesota Zoo.
