Lori & Julia win radio award

The 107.1 FM team gets a Gracie.

Lori & Julia have a good reason to sound extra chipper these days. The 107.1 FM afternoon team learned Wednesday that they have received a local Gracie award, given to broadcasters who have participated and created exemplary programming for women. The pair was honored for outstanding entertainment show.

Perhaps more importantly, their ratings are up. Way up. 105 percent up in its key demographic, women 25-54.

Now if only they could score that interview with George Clooney....
