Minnesota United's average home game attendance of 20,781 ranks 10th among Major League Soccer's 22 franchises. The league average is 20,809. After an opening-day crowd that topped 35,000, the Loons have drawn about 17,000 to 19,000 fans in each of their past five games.

Faster start in Atlanta: Fellow expansion franchise Atlanta, playing in Georgia Tech's stadium, has averaged a league-best 48,031 fans through four games. That includes 55,297 for its first game against New York Red Bulls, the third-largest crowd for an expansion team's first home match. The Loons' home opener against Atlanta ranks sixth on that list.
