First lady Michelle Obama, left, hugs fashion icon Anna Wintour at the dedication ceremony for the newly renamed Anna Wintour Costume Center at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, May 5, 2014. The Vogue editor Wintour proved yet again that she can get the entire fashion world to show up for an event, including Donatella Versace, Michael Kors and, of course, Michelle Obama. Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour proved last week that she can get just about anyone to show up for an event, including First Lady Michelle Obama. The FLOTUS stopped by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to christen a new costume institute named after the famous Vogue editor. The first lady looked lovely in a green silk three-quarter-sleeved floral Naeem Khan dress as she embraced a normally not-so-cuddly Wintour. Aimee Blanchette
