Eden Prairie's Libby Floyd learned how to use a zester and a masher during her stint on Food Network's "Worst Cooks in America." Unfortunately, she failed to pick up that there's nothing appetizing about something called "Sparkilicious Salmon."

Floyd's fish dish failed to impress chef Bobby Flay Sunday night, making her the first contestant in season three of the reality series to get the boot. In other words, she truly is the worst cook in America.

"To be honest, looking at the episode, I thought I was pretty strong," said the good-natured Floyd on Monday. "Maybe my sequins blinded their decision."

Ironically, up until last October, Floyd worked as an on-air pitchwoman for Shop NBC, specializing in ... kitchen appliances.

Floyd, who's currently working on a novel and her music, thinks she picked up a few valuable tips while shooting the episode this past November, but her husband, filmmaker Tony Cane-Honeysett, won't let her cook for the family.

"The kitchen is still his territory," she said.

"Worst Cooks in America" continues at 8 p.m. Sunday nights on Food Network.
