The do's and don'ts of livestreaming:

Do stream content that people care about. (Hint: Unless you're a hotshot food critic, nobody cares what you ate for lunch.)

Don't try to copy "Chewbacca Mom." Her video was authentic and cannot be replicated, no matter how hard you try.

Do give others around you a heads up before you press record. It's the right thing to do.

Don't stream video with your address or exact location in the background. Safety first.

Do report suspicious activity and abusive content. Livestream services have community standards that rely on public reports.

Don't share livestream video of people behaving badly. They don't need encouragement.

Do use Wi-Fi or a strong internet connection. And don't interrupt your wedding to accommodate your virtual guests.

Don't drive and livestream. Don't drink and livestream, either. Duh.
