At noon, the Minnesota Senate took up the measure to legalize marriage between gay couples, following the House's 75-59 vote on Thursday. The Star Tribune will live stream the debate, vote and reaction.
If the Senate passes it, as expected, that would send the bill to Gov. Mark Dayton. He is likely to sign it into law Tuesday paving the way for gay marriage legalization starting Aug. 1.
