Getting ready for Vikings-Packers tonight

October 24, 2010 at 9:46PM

GREEN BAY, WIS. -- We successfully navigated the tailgaters outside Lambeau Field and have arrived in the press box for tonight's Vikings-Packers game.

The winner will make up ground on Chicago, which fell to 4-3 with a 17-14 loss to Washington today. The Vikings are trying to end their six-game road losing streak, dating to their victory here last Nov. 1.

We should get the inactives around 6 p.m. central. Center John Sullivan and rookie cornerback Chris Cook are expected to return tonight after missing two games because of injury.

Cook likely will play in the nickel with Asher Allen the starter opposite Antoine Winfield.

It rained most of the morning here, but the rain has stopped for now and it's mostly overcast. Hopefully the rain will hold off the rest of the night for those attending.

We'll be back in a while with the inactives.
