Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph said he had offseason surgery in January to repair a partially torn labrum in his right shoulder. He spent the spring rehabbing and has been limited to this point during OTAs and Tuesday's mandatory minicamp.
Joseph has participated in individual drills but not during team sessions. Fred Evans and Tom Johnson have received the bulk of the first team reps at nose tackle.
"I feel better now because I've done everything individually that I could do," Joseph said. "Right now, we're trying to get it as strong as I can before I go back into war."
Joseph expects to be a full participant when the team reports to training camp on July 24.

*Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson participated in team session for the first time during the team's mandatory minicamp. Robinson said he was held out for a number of issues and the team didn't want him to aggravate any injuries.
Robinson was used as an outside corner during team session with Captain Munnerlyn as the slot cornerback in nickel situations. He said he feels much more comfortable being used an outside corner, whereas last year when he was used in the slot.
"It was a bunch of stuff from calls to alignments; nothing was natural," Robinson said on the adjustment. "Everything was learned and still trying to learn things. That was kind of my downfall. My biggest thing this year is making sure I know everything so everything is natural and fast."
