Linebacker Erin Henderson inactive for today's game with Raiders

Husain Abdullah and Anthony Herrera are inactive today.

The Vikings inactive list has been released at Mall of America Field. And it's no surprise that safety Husain Abdullah and guard Anthony Herrera are both on it. Abdullah suffered a concussion last week against the Packers and hasn't been cleared to return yet. Herrera injured the LCL in his left knee in a Week 7 home loss to Green Bay and hasn't played since.

As for linebacker Erin Henderson, he's a bit of a surprise listing on today's inactive chart. Henderson tweaked his hamstring Monday night at Lambeau Field but had been a limited participant at practice throughout the week. Now he will sit today against Oakland, a big blow to a depleted Vikings defense trying to slow Carson Palmer, Michael Bush and a Raiders offense that's gaining confidence.

Third-year linebacker Kenny Onatolu will start in place of Henderson. Also expect E.J. Henderson to assume added responsibility in the Vikings' nickel defense wit his younger brother on the shelf. Xavier Adibi may also be needed today.

Other Vikings inactive today: cornerback Chris Cook, offensive tackle DeMarus Love, wide receiver Stephen Burton and defensive end D'Aundre Reed.

Inactive Raiders today: running back Darren McFadden, receiver Jacoby Ford, quarterback Terrelle Pryor, corner Chris Johnson, quarterback Jason Campbell, running back Manase Tonga and guard Bruce Campbell.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
