SULLIVAN, Wis. — A line of thunderstorms packing heavy rain and high winds is spreading across southern Wisconsin, downing trees, knocking out power and causing part of a Walmart roof to collapse.

In Lake Delton, the roof of a Walmart near shipping and receiving collapsed during a downpour Wednesday. Fire Chief Darren Jorgenson says two employees had minor injuries, but no customers were hurt.

The National Weather Service says winds estimated at 60 mph blew through Columbia County in south-central Wisconsin.

Emergency Management Director Pat Beghin says the storm knocked down trees and caused some power outages. No injuries are reported.

In Richland County, a wind gust estimated at 60 mph was reported around 4:30 p.m. in Port Andrew.

Street flooding was reported in parts of the village of Boscobel in Grant County.
