Shoppers stoked by Architectural Antiques' fall sale might also want to check out similar retailer Lightworks' sale,

which runs through Oct. 10. Deals include:

* 40 percent off all restored antique lighting.
* 50 percent off all fabric shades.
* 15 to 20 percent off all hand-made, custom and reproduction lighting orders.
* 15 percent off all reproduction glass, including art glass.

All other architectural items also are on sale.

Lightworks bills itself as "the foremost designer and manufacturer of custom-made period authentic light fixtures and authentic, restored antique lighting" in the Twin Cities. "No other company offers the custom capabilities available at our shop," it says.

Lightworks is located at 404 Washington Av. N., Minneapolis; call 612-724-8311. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, but the store is open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays during the sale.
