Light-rail trains resuming in downtown Minneapolis after suspicious package

After about an hourlong delay of service, Metro Transit light-rail trains are resuming in both directions between the Target Field and U.S. Bank Stadium stops.

Buses had replaced trains after a suspicious package was found between Nicollet Mall and Hennepin Avenue S., spokesman Howie Padilla said. Minneapolis police were investigating.
