Life-Threatening Cold Thursday

The combination of bitterly cold air and gusty winds across the northern Plainsand Upper Midwest on Thursday will create a dangerous situation for those whoventure outside without proper attire.Accuweather.com RealFeel temperatures will be 30 below zero or colder duringthe day Thursday from the eastern Dakotas to western Minnesota!Actual temperatures will remain below zero Thursday night and Friday from theDakotas to Wisconsin and southward across Iowa and Missouri. The air is so coldthat frostbite can occur on exposed skin in just a matter of minutes, andprolonged exposure to such temperatures will result in hypothermia or evendeath.

If you have to be outside, a hat, gloves and deeply layered clothing is anecessity.
