Library projects

Other library projects underway in the Hennepin County system include:

• Maple Grove: A new 40,000-square-foot library is to be built this year and next, to open in early 2010.

• Plymouth: A new 30,000-square-foot library is to be built this year and next, to open in early 2010.

• Brooklyn Park: Studies are ongoing to determine future library needs.

• Westonka: Renovations recently completed included shelf reconfiguration, improved lighting, new carpet and new furniture.
