Minnesotan Brittani Senser's music video for "After Love" is going to be impossible to ignore with Levi Johnston in it.
The daughter of former Viking Joe Senser, the restaurateur with Twin Cities sports bars, and the son-in-law-elect of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are scheduled to record a video in August for the song penned by the sexy, singing Senser.
"Johnston will make his music video debut playing the role of a lover whose romance is thwarted by his girlfriend's disapproving mother," according to AP entertainment writer Lynn Elber.
This is an example of brilliant story line typecasting. Outlets as varied as "Entertainment Tonight" and Wolf Blitzer's CNN "Situation Room" are going to want to play a clip of this video to see what Johnston contributes.
One person who may not enjoy this is Palin, who must be bristling about the video's story line and wondering how it figures in Johnston's scheme to get back on the ex-guv's good side.
Johnston told Us Weekly magazine that he has apologized personally to Palin about unflattering statements he made after he broke up with her daughter Bristol Palin.
Levi and Bristol, high school sweethearts and parents of baby Tripp, provided Alaska's then-governor an inconvenient out-of-wedlock pregnancy for the 2008 presidential campaign trail. They broke up but now are back together and engaged. Despite the reunion, Johnston could be on a kind of probation with Palin, according to Us. "Levi's actions will speak louder than words and I think him stepping up and getting his GED, a job and supporting us emotionally and financially [will go a long way to helping Sarah Palin] be happy for us," Bristol said in an Us video.
So what does Johnston signing a contract to play this role say? Another youthful indiscretion?
