Conflict of interest? Your article on Great Lakes cleanup, April 16, would be more convincing as an economic boon to the area and not a future burden to its taxpayers if the Brookings Institute's Michael O'Hanlon wasn't hand in glove with his counterparts at the Project for a New American Century, a rightist organization with a tendency to rubberstamp everything the Bush administration and his fellow neocons want.

Comedy, not Congress Go Franken! Here's a guy who doesn't seem to have a handle on his own personal business, but he seems to think he is qualified to enter Congress and make decisions regarding the nation's business. I think not. We already have more than enough incompetence. Instead of trying to go to Congress, he should try going back to his hackneyed comedy.

Children come first Since when is a lost child not as important as "sagging home values" or "bad economy spells trouble for riverfront project"? I'm referring to the April 15 article on the 4-year-old boy missing in Minneapolis. Articles on missing children should always be on the front page where they'll be noticed at first glance. Children are the most important thing we have! Please consider this next time.
